Heraldry


Heraldic symbol is an emblem of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter referred to as the emblem), a distinctive sign indicating the employees or property belonging to the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus.

The emblem is placed on:
  • Banner or flag of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus;
  • Uniform, distinction signs and awards of employees of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus;
  • Printing, souvenirs, information, movie, video, photo and printing products manufactured by the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus or upon their request;
  • Official website of the Investigative Committee;
  • Vehicles and other property of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus;
  • Award cold steel.
The emblem is placed in the offices of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus, his deputies and other places determined by the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus.

The emblem may be reproduced in color, black and white, as well as in tridimensional option.


The flag of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter referred to as the flag) is the official heraldic symbol.

The flag is placed (hung) in the offices of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus, his deputies, heads of divisions of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus, in the offices of departments of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus for the regions and the city of Minsk, district (interdistrict), city, city district departments of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus.

It is permitted to use the flag during mass patriotic, sports, cultural and entertaining activities, including outside the office buildings of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus.

In case of simultaneous placing of the banner of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus with flags of administrative and territorial units of the Republic of Belarus, the flag of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus shall be located on the right side of the banner of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus, when facing it. In case of simultaneous placing of the State Flag of the Republic of Belarus with the flag of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus and other flags (banners), their location shall be determined in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Belarus dated July 5, 2004 “On state symbols of the Republic of Belarus” (National register of legal acts of the Republic of Belarus, 2004, No. 111, 2/1050).

The flag may be reproduced in printing, souvenirs, information, movie, video, photo and printing products manufactured by the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus or upon their request. 


The banner of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter referred to as the banner) is a honorary symbol of honor, valor and glory, serving as a reminder to each employee of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus of the sacred duty of defending the Fatherland, ensuring national security of the Republic of Belarus, loyalty to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus.

The banner is awarded to the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus on behalf of the President of the Republic of Belarus. 

The banner shall be retained by the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus at all times regardless of the change of its name. The changed name shall be entered in the Letter of the President of the Republic of Belarus issued upon receipt of the banner.

In case of termination of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the banner and the Letter of the President of the Republic of Belarus, which is issued on handing over of the banner, shall be deposited in the State Institution "The National Museum of History and Culture."

Order of takeout, storage and keeping the banner shall be determined by the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus.
