Investigators of two countries establish the circumstances of the murder of a Belarusian woman in Russia
The investigative department of the Administration of the Investigative Committee in and for the city of Minsk is investigating a criminal case about the murder of a 69-year-old woman.
According to the investigation, in September 2018, the 69-year-old woman went to the Russian Federation to carry out commercial activities in a Mercedes-Benz car driven by a 42-year-old man.
The man returned from the trip alone. He said to the relatives of the elderly woman that she had decided to stay in Russia.
On November 16, 2018, there was initiated a criminal case on the unknown disappearance of the woman at the request of her son, with whom she contacted for the last time on November 5.
The investigative department of the AIC in and for the city of Minsk in December 2018, based on this fact, initiated a criminal case under the article "murder". On suspicion of committing the crime, there was detained the 42-year-old man, that travelled with a pensioner outside the country.
Within the framework of the criminal case investigation, interaction with the law enforcement bodies of Russia is carried out in the established manner. At the moment, on the territory of the Chelyabinsk region, investigators of the AIC in and for the city of Minsk, together with their colleagues from Russia, are working hard to gather evidence.
The criminal case remains under investigation.
