The resident of Minsk was detained under suspicion of child pornography production
Central Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus investigates the criminal case on the production of materials with sexual content.
In September, 2018 the officers of the Department of cyber-police of the National police of Ukraine provided the law enforcement agencies of Belarus with information that in the territory of our country there is Internet user, who can be involved in production, advertisement and distribution of materials with sexual content featuring the minors.
Obtained information was verified in process of criminal intelligence and surveillance operations by the officers of Chief Administration of Drug Control and Anti-Human Trafficking of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, which established the identity of 40 years old resident of Minsk.
The Investigative Committee initiated the criminal case pursuant to part 3, clauses 343-1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus for production, advertisement and distribution of materials with sexual content featuring definitely minors.
The man was detained under suspicion of commission of criminal case on February 05, 2019.
According to the law enforcement investigation, in 2017 the suspected was engaged in production of motion picture scripts with sexual content. Pursuant to these scripts two residents of Ukraine produced videos featuring minor. It was established the case when five-year old child participated in filming. With a view to conspiracy, the suspected used crypto-wallet during calculation. In the following the video footage was placed at the specialized sites with the purpose of sale.
The investigators made the search at the place of residence of the suspected, in process of which the computer equipment and electronic data storage devices were recovered. It is known that the man works as Department Manager in one of organizations and was not held criminally liable before.
